Katie Price says she is 'registered disabled' after breaking both feet in horror holiday fall

Kate Price has revealed she is 'registered disabled' after a horror fall in Turkey saw her break both feet.

The former glamour model, 42, was injured last year while on holiday with boyfriend Carl Woods.

Katie reportedly fell off a 25ft wall and shattered bones in both of her feet.

The mum-of-five has now told The Sun that walking leaves her in agony and compared the pain to "shocks of lightning shooting up my feet all day".

She said: "I'm registered disabled and have got letters from the doctors to certify me for a blue badge, which I've sent off for.

"I have to park near the entrances to shops all the time, otherwise it would cripple me to walk from the back of a car park to a shop and back again.

"I can't carry anything from the shops either or even walk up the stairs with anything. The heavier items, the more it hurts my feet."

Kate said she can only walk for 20 minutes at a time before the pain becomes unbearable.

She has spoken previously about her accident last July previously after falling onto a concrete ramp which left her undergoing an eight-hour surgery.

Katie has revealed the full extent of the long-term consequences  of the fall which have been life-changing.

"I will never be the same, I've had to accept that," she said.

"The accident has changed my life and it's only just sunk in if I'm honest.

"I'm lucky to be alive and to be able to walk a short distance, but it gets frustrating. If I want to go on a long family walk, I have to take a wheelchair.

"I've been given two sets of painkillers but I can't take them because I'm scared of becoming addicted, so I'm just in constant pain."
