Katie Price says Mucky Mansion is now 'happy mansion' after renovations

Katie Price said her home is no longer a ‘Mucky Mansion’ after the success of her recent Channel 4 series.

The former glamour model was the focus of the three-part series, called Katie Price ’s Mucky Mansion, and followed her efforts as she renovated several rooms in her dilapidated 14-room Essex property.

Katie, 43, shares the mansion with her partner Carl Woods, and four of her five children - Junior, Princess, Jett and Bunny, as eldest son Harvey is living in a residential college.

The show came to an end on Wednesday, and viewers were desperate to see more of the renovations, as only a third of the rooms in the former luxury home were decorated.

Katie took to her Instagram Stories over the weekend to share a screenshot of an article suggesting Mucky Mansion was going to be given the go-ahead for a second series because it was a hit with viewers.

“Katie Price fans demand Channel 4 confirms second series of Mucky Mansion,” the headline read.

“Would you really like me to do another series and see more rooms complete in my @katiepricemuckymansion - well, now it’s called happy mansion,” she joked, sharing a poll for her followers to vote in.

During the series, son Jett, 8, was lucky enough to have his room renovated, while Princess, 14, was also chosen to have her bedroom overhauled.

Katie also transformed her kitchen, and mum Amy, who is terminally ill with the lung condition idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, helped to decorate one of the rooms so her daughter could have something to remember her by when she died.

Viewers were desperate to see more rooms being renovated in Katie’s home, and took to Twitter to plead with Channel 4 bosses to give them another series.

“Gutted it’s finished hope they do another series! Want to see it complete,” one tweeted.
