But one thing many people don't know is that the star was born with a much more unusual name - and it's a bit of a mouthful.
Katie wasted no time in changing it when she turned 17 - proclaiming: "I don't know what my mum was thinking!
"I hated [my name]."
When she was born in 1978, Katie's mum Amy had a whole list of favourites that she couldn't narrow down - so instead just gave them all, as the Mirror reports.
As a result, Katrina Amy Alexandria Alexis Infield was born.

She dropped her birth dad Ray's surname after he left when she was four, and instead took the last name of her mum's second husband, Paul Price.
So where does the whole Jordan thing come into it?
Katie adopted the moniker when she launched her glamour modelling career, explaining her mum didn't want people to make the association between them.
“My mum was working in the City," she told the Telegraph.
“She didn’t want people to know I was her daughter.”
