Katie Price warned 'don't go out alone' after £2m mucky mansion break-in

Katie Price has been advised by the police to not go out alone.

The former Page 3 icon, 42, has been told to "be vigilant" after her £2million family home was recently destroyed in a break-in - which law enforcement officers believe it could have been "an inside job."

The mother-of-five is understandably shocked after her mucky mansion - that is currently being renovated - was completely wrecked by thugs who did thousands of pounds worth of damage and wreaked havoc on the property.

A source told The Sun: "Police say it's an inside job because the perpetrators knew exactly where the safe was."

"Katie's shocked by the news and is being forced to tighten up security around her. Police have told her to be vigilant and not to go out alone.

"Blade [her security dog] is on high alert. She's had death threats and kidnap plots foiled in the past."

In stomach-churning photographs obtained by the newspaper, the ground flood ceiling could be seen caving in as a result of the water damage after the people who broke in are thought to have let the taps running.

Sussex Police have confirmed the incident to the newspaper.

A neighbour was said to have alerted the reality personality to the damage.

It's not known if anything was stolen from the sprawling property.

Katie has been living nearby with her family while her mucky mansion was being rennovated.
