Junior Andre is planning to release music "very soon", proud dad Peter Andre has revealed.
The 16-year-old is understood to have a recording deal with music label Columbia Records - which currently lists both Adele and Beyoncé amongst its artists.
Peter has now given an update on the teenager's upcoming launch into the music industry - which he's helping with.
The 48-year-old, who shares Junior and sister Princess Andre with ex-wife Katie, said that it's a "very busy time" for his eldest who is "writing and putting his album together."
"We're still developing him but it's so cool and I'm so proud of him," Peter penned in his column for new! magazine this week.
Peter said that he's encouraged his son to co-write tracks as he considers being a songwriter to be "important" - having co-written his chart-topping 1995 track.
And teasing that fans won't have long to wait for Junior's debut, Peter added: "He's going to start releasing music next year, so it's an amazing and exciting time for him."
The proud dad said he feels "very lucky" to be part of the process with his son and to "help in any way I can with his career," having started in the industry as a teenager himself.
The dad-of-four said "things are happening" for the family at the moment, but shared his opinion that it's "important to always stay grounded and always be grateful."
The update comes after Peter shared a video of himself and Junior performing along to the song Skate, released by the group Silk Sonic, which includes singer Bruno Mars.
The pair, dressed in matching black waistcoasts and white shirts, can be seen miming and dancing to the track in the back of a taxi - with Peter posting the video on Instagram.

The video attracted praise from his followers, with the pair described as a "dynamic duo" and another fan commenting that they "love the relationship" Peter has with his children.
Others asked when Junior would be releasing music, whilst another follower encouraged the father and son to record a duet, commenting: "You need to do a song together!"
