Katie Price's son Junior tests positive for Covid 4 months after dad fell sick

Katie Price's son Junior Andre confirmed that he has tested positive for coronavirus.

The 15-year-old, who is the eldest child of Katie and her ex-husband Peter Andre, took to social media to reveal the test result to his social media followers.

It comes four months after Junior's dad Peter also battled the virus when he tested positive at the start of January.

Addressing his 429,000 Instagram followers, Junior simply wrote on Thursday evening: "I have tested positive for COVID."

Junior's parents are yet to address the news that he had contracted Covid-19 on social media.

It's actually not the first time that Junior appears to have had a brush with the virus, after revealing on an earlier occasion that he was suffering from symptoms.

At the start of last year, Junior told followers that he was experiencing symptoms but does not appear to have taken a test to confirm his results.

He said in March 2020: "These aren't easy times as we know. I am videoing this to tell you I am showing symptoms of the coronavirus. It is not me saying I have it , I am showing symptoms."

The teenager added: "Everyone please stay safe these aren't easy times like I said."

Later that year, Junior was told to self-isolate a second time after an outbreak of coronavirus was reported at his school.

Junior's recent announcement came four months after his dad Peter confirmed that he had tested positive for Covid-19.

At the start of January, the Mysterious Girl singer revealed that he had been forced to wear a mask at home as he self-isolated away from his family.

Peter's wife Emily, who also had Covid-19 last year, expressed shock over how the stay-at-home-dad was able to catch the virus while carefully following safety guidelines.

At the time, he revealed that he’s been suffering from aches and pains following his diagnosis.

However, after the isolation period, Pete appeared to have bounced back after he was pictured enjoying a walk close to his home.
