Katie Price’s son Harvey has reportedly been accepted into a £350,000-a-year residential college.
The eldest son of the former glamour model, 43, is set to move out of home in just two weeks as he sets out on his next educational adventure at the National Star College.
Harvey, 19, who lives with autism, impaired sight and Prader-Willi syndrome, had dreamed of securing a place in the prestigious college and his proud mum Katie backed him all the way as the pair visited the college grounds in their BBC documentary, Harvey & Me.
Lifting the lid on Harvey’s amazing achievement, a source told The Sun : “Harvey has been accepted into the National Star College.
"She had her heart set on the college since they visited in her BBC documentary Harvey & Me."
Mum-of-five Katie has continuously encouraged her son to go after his dreams, and believes that Harvey’s disabilities should never hold him back in life.
Katie, who welcomed Harvey with ex-boyfriend Dwight Yorke in 2002, has spent six months visiting colleges for teens with autism and learning difficulties to ensure that her son finds the best place to study.
And according to The Sun, the huge yearly fees at the National Star College are eligible for government funding due to Harvey's special needs.
It has still not been confirmed if Katie's application for financial help has been approved as Harvey sets out on his independent adventure away from home.
Katie previously admitted that she’s dreading waving her teenage son off to college as she can’t bare thinking about not being able to see him every single day.
“It's so upsetting to think I won't see him every day but this is the best thing for Harvey and we have to think positively because I don't want him to think I'm just getting rid of him,” the proud mum told.
"I need to learn to let go but it's tough - anyone in my position knows how hard it is. We have an incredible bond. I don't know how Harvey will react or how he'll feel when I can't get to him. It's too painful to think about.
"When he's three hours away it will break my heart because I won't be able to get there as I've got to juggle him with my other kids,” she added.
It comes after Katie recently admitted that she ‘can’t wait’ to take her son on his first clubbing night out as nightclubs finally re-open across the UK.

The TV star is convinced Harvey will 'love it' when she whisks him on a night out where he can enjoy music as well as an orange squash.
Taking to Instagram last month, Katie revealed that the family are gearing up her eldest son’s first night out on the town as she proudly showed off Harvey's impressive dance moves.
Now that Harvey is 19 years old, Katie appeared excited about partying with her son as lockdown restrictions ease.
"Just love Harvey so much he is getting ready for the summer and now he is 19 I can take him to a club he will love it with the music and an orange squash," Katie wrote on social media.
