Katie Price's son Harvey swears live on GMB as Richard Madeley forced to apologise

Good Morning Britain's Richard Madeley was forced to apologise to viewers today after Katie Price's son Harvey swore live on air.

The former glamour model, 43, appeared on the ITV show alongside her eldest child, 19, on Monday to discuss her ongoing campaign against online trolling.

The live interview quickly descended into chaos when a piece of light equipment fell on the mum and son duo, prompting Harvey to drop the F-word.

GMB presenter Richard was later forced to apologise to any viewers 'offended' by the swear word after the mishap.

Katie appeared on the show in a live call from her garden with Harvey, where she shared her disappointment after a man was cleared over an offensive video mocking him.

Phillip Lewer, 52, was found not guilty of sending by public communication network an offensive, indecent, obscene or menacing message, after claiming it was sent as a 'joke'.

As she spoke about the outcome on Monday morning, Harvey sat next to his mum in their garden and was using his iPad.

Katie revealed that Harvey had refused to put an earpiece in, so therefore he couldn't hear what hosts Richard Madeley and Susanna Reid were saying to him.

However, the mum-of-five relayed their questions and comments to him and even told him to stop using his iPad halfway through the interview.

As Katie chatted to Richard and Susanna, a piece of equipment blew over in front of her and her son, and someone working behind-the-scenes was forced to intervene.

Harvey looked confused as to what was going on and was heard saying: "What the f**k?"

"Oh don't worry Harv, that's live TV for you!" she told him, trying to reassure her son.

Richard later apologised for Harvey's language as mum-of-three Susanna Reid giggled beside him.

He said: "We just have to quickly say there was a little bit of inadvertent swearing earlier.

"It was completely inadvertent. Obviously if you were affected by it, we apologise.

"But I think we can live with it."

His co-host Susanna Reid joked: "Was that you, Richard?"

He laughed: "No it wasn't me, although I have done that."

GMB viewers didn't seem to mind too much though and were keen to praise Katie and her son on Twitter.

"I love Harvey he brightens my day and Katie is an amazing mum xxx #GMB," one person wrote.

Another tweeted: I love Harvey Price, he's a legend #gmb," while a third added: "Just love Harvey Price and hats off to Katie #gmb."

A fourth viewer posted: "Awwww Harvey you utter beaut say anything you want about Katie but she’s amazing mum to him and there relationship is heartwarming #GMB."

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
