Katie Price's pink car 'repossessed by bailiffs after she failed to pay £2.50 fine'

Katie Price reportedly had her pink VW Beetle repossessed by bailiffs after she failed to pay a £2.50 fine.

The former glamour girl, 40, is said to have owed a £2.50 toll charge for the Dartford Crossing back in 2017.

However, she reportedly failed to pay up and the fine spiralled to around £800 plus costs.

She's said to have not seen any letters relating to the fine, and The Sun Online reports bailiffs turned up at her door last month to tow away the car.

A source told the publication: “Katie’s saying the letters must have got overlooked as she had no idea that the fine had spiralled from £2.50 to £800.

The news comes shortly after Katie got her driving licence back following a ban.

She was ordered off the roads in the aftermath of her drink-driving arrest last October.

The mum-of-five was found guilty of being drunk while in charge of a motor vehicle but was cleared of the more serious charge of drink driving by the judge.

The loss of her car will be a blow to the star, who is trying turn her life around. after spending the last few months battling financial troubles and narrowly swerved bankruptcy last year.

She was facing financial ruin as her debts spiralled and even faced having to sell off her mucky mansion in West Sussex.

Katie has also been flogging her old clothes - even her knickers - as well as her former breast implants in a bid to raise some much-needed cash.

She's been trying to renovate her mucky mansion after it fell into a grotty state.

Katie is said to have spent around £250,000 doing the place up.
