Katie Price's nanny's witness statement to cops after attack left star in hospital

Katie Price’s former nanny has given a statement to police as a potential witness to the aftermath of the assault that left the reality star in hospital.

The man suspected of attacking the TV personality has been “released under investigation” after being arrested and bailed three times.

Sources say officers have been looking at footage from ambulance and paramedic cameras from August 23 last year.

Katie’s former nanny has also spoken to police and given a statement.

Essex Police said in a statement: “A man arrested following reports of an assault in Little Canfield, Essex, on August 23 has been released under investigation.”

News of the police probe comes as Katie said she hoped 2022 would bring her “no more dramas”.

The 43-year-old said she felt “ashamed” about her drink-drive crash that came just weeks after the attack.

Speaking of the crash on ITV ’s Good Morning Britain, Katie said: “The events leading up to it were really traumatic and it’s still been traumatic afterwards, so I’m not ready to talk about it yet.

“What I can say is I went to The Priory and I’ve made the decision finally to see a therapist every week, and will do forever, to deal with the traumatic events that led me up to that car.”

Katie also said she wants to tie the knot with boyfriend Carl Woods this year.

She added: “This is the year for me – babies, marriage I want it all.”
