Katie Price's mum Amy has revealed the comment that sparked her daughter's surgery splurge.
The former glamour model, 45, has had 16 boob jobs in a bid to boast the biggest chest size in Britain but Amy, 70, thinks she needs to stop.
Speaking on This Morning amid the release of her book, The Last Word, she said: "On Katie’s very first photoshoot on the beach a man said to her 'How can u be a page 3 girl you’ve got no boobs' and she heard it.
"I didn't want her to have surgery at all. I have called up and cancelled some of her operations, but she learned to stop telling me.
"I can almost tell you now when she's going to have something done... She has body dysmorphia."
Amy said all women in the family had small boobs, but grew up to be normal size, but Katie 'was adamant she wanted to change'.
Admitting her daughter's latest boob job was "ridiculous", she said Katie's recent tattoo 'obsession' is another insight into her mental health.
In recent years, Katie has had a number of tattoos, including a huge horse across her stomach and an inking of her daughter Princess on her leg.
In an excerpt of her book, shared with The Sun, Amy writes: "Over the years, we have all come to accept it as part of Kate’s personality, but we have also seen a pattern emerging — relationship difficulties correlate with an urge to change things on the outside, even though it is her inner thoughts and feelings that need attention.
"I’ve begun to warn her that if she’s not careful, she will end up looking like the Bride of Frankenstein, but she tells me not to waste my breath."
The Mucky Mansions star has had a well-documented battle with her mental health, recently admitting she's been diagnosed with ADHD.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, Katie said: "I've tried to educate my mum, but my brain is wired differently to other people.
"I hate labels, but now my mum and I have both spoken to doctors and she has realised why I’ve done things in the past, why I act the way I do, why I do things, why I am the way I am."
In December 2021, the OnlyFans star flipped her car in a crash and admitting drink-driving while disqualified. She told officers after the collision, which happened near to her home in Sussex: "I took drugs, I should not be driving, I admit it all."
Amy said her daughter needs "hardcore help" following the crash, admitting she previously thought about sectioning Katie before conceding there was 'no way she could do it.'
