Katie Price's Mucky Mansion will be renovated in new Channel 4 doc as she tries to make a 'happy home' for her five kids

Katie Price's home in West Sussex was nicknamed the 'mucky mansion' after it fell into disrepair but now, thanks to a new Channel 4 documentary, the 43-year-old is set to renovate it in a bid to make a happier home for herself and her five children

The home will also be the place she explores her own mental health in second new documentary, Katie Price: Trauma & Me.

Speaking about her new project, she said: "My house has been called the Mucky Mansion in the past, but it’s not that anymore, I’m making it a home. I’m getting my hands dirty and doing a lot of the work myself and, with the help of my amazing family and some brilliant friends, I’m putting the past behind me and rebuilding. My house is a bit like my life, it’s being put back together like I’m being put back together."

Katie's new documentary will follow her and her family as they try to renovate the property, which sprawls across a huge 10 acres.

The three episodes will show Katie as she tries to put her bad memories and the traumatic events that have taken place there in a bid to create a "happy home and sanctuary" for herself and her family.

She will take an active role in the whole renovation - including the replacing of the chimney pots, as well as designing the perfect bedrooms for her five kids and a great kitchen for the whole family.
