Katie Price's heartache at Harvey's school return after 'rollercoaster' lockdown

Doting mum Katie Price has revealed she's going to find it hard seeing eldest son Harvey go back to school.

While the 18-year-old is said to be over the moon at the prospect of seeing his pals again, Katie admitted that it's going to be a real tearjerker to watch him go back after lockdown.

Harvey has Prader-Willi Syndrome, is partially blind and autistic, and previously spent weekdays at a specialist residential centre.

But after lockdown measures went into place, Harvey was forced to leave and stay at home around the clock with his mum.

Now that the school has opened its doors again, Harvey can look forward to a reunion with his mates.

But Katie is under no illusion that it's going to be easy for her.

"I will miss Harvey so much," the former glamour model told The Sun, "We have such a special bond.

"It's been like three back-to-back summer holidays. I think most mums like me are delighted to be handing the schooling back to the professionals.

"I have nothing but the utmost respect for teachers and the dedicated hours they put in."

A source added to the publication that Katie has "cherished" their time together in lockdown, which has been "rollercoaster" for the two of them.

Harvey was rushed to hospital in July after he experienced severe chest pains and a temperature spike.

Katie recalled eight doctors surrounding Harvey in the resuscitation room as they flocked to save his life.

He was taken into intensive care, and eventually released after being put on the road to recovery.

During that time Katie was swamped with messages of love and support from celeb pals and fans alike.

More recently, during a sun-drenched getaway to Turkey, Katie was forced into a wheelchair after suffering two hairline fractures.

Having undergone surgery for her two broken feet, it's said her recovery has been incredibly tough.

Harvey could be heard urging his mum to "stop crying" in a heartbreaking clip following the major surgery.

She proudly told fans: "Harvey wanted me to film him again bless him .. love him so much and how much he expresses how much he loved his mum he is so cute."
