Katie Price's family react to son Harvey in intensive care after being rushed to hospital

Members of Katie Price’s family have spoken out after her son Harvey was rushed to hospital.

The mum-of-five announced to her fans on Sunday evening that her eldest child - the son of former Manchester United footballer Dwight York - was in intensive care.

According to reports he was taken to hospital after experiencing breathing difficulties - and was thought to be at risk of organ failure.

Katie broke the message on her Instagram page, sharing a photo of themselves along with a message of thanks to the hospital staff that are looking after him.

She said: "I can confirm Harvey is in intensive care and in the best hands. I would like to thank the ambulance services and the hospital staff for the quick response and making him stable. X"

Junior, 15, and Princess, 13, who Katie shares with Peter Andre, have since sent their own messages of love and support for Harvey.

Junior simply said: “Love you big bro” and uploaded the same photo of his mum and Harvey to his Instagram stories.

Princess replied to her mum’s message with: “I love you Harv soo much.”

She then posted on her own Instagram page, sending positive thoughts to her sibling.

“I love you Harv soo much! You're going to be fine! Think about the positives not the negatives,” she wrote.

While no update has been shared about Harvey’s condition, it is believed that he is “struggling to breathe” and has a dangerously high temperature.

A representative for Katie told The Sun : "His condition is very dangerous and Katie is terrified.

"He has a temperature of 42 degrees and is struggling to breathe.

"One of his conditions is adrenal failure that could cause his organs to fail and is very dangerous."

This is not the first health scare the 18-year-old has had in recent weeks. He was rushed to hospital at the beginning of July after experiencing 'pins and needles' chest pain at his sister Princess' 13th birthday.
