Police officers who allegedly mocked Katie Price's disabled son Harvey in vile texts are being investigated, it's claimed.
The five cops have been placed on restricted duties following allegations that they shared "inappropriate material" on a WhatsApp group.
Police confirmed an investigation is being carried out to look for "evidence of discrimination relating to race, sex, sexual orientation, religion or belief and disability" in the group chat.
They are the second group of police officers to be investigated over similar claims over cruel messages about Harvey, who has severe autism, Prader-Willi syndrome and impaired sight.
The group, who are based in Hackney, East London, is accused of sending vile "jokes" and memes about Harvey, 19.
Police confirmed to The Mirror that an investigation is being conducted by the Met's Directorate of Professional Standards (DPS) into "allegations that inappropriate material was shared by officers in a closed WhatsApp group which was active between January 2018 and December 2018".
A statement from the Met Police said: "The DPS is considering whether the material constitutes a breach of standards, specifically whether there is any evidence of discrimination relating to race, sex, sexual orientation, religion or belief and disability."
The existence of the WhatsApp group came to light in August 2020 and an investigation was immediately launched, the police said.

Kate told The Sun: "They should be dismissed. It should go to court. I would go and speak up and take Harvey.
"If you can’t trust the police who can you trust. They should all be named and shamed."
It comes after the Met confirmed last month that eight different officers, who are based in Bexleyheath Police Station in South East London, were being investigated, accused of posting racist and sexist jokes, bullying a female co-worker and mocking black suspects.

A source said at the time: "They've been putting sick jokes in there, pictures of black criminals, but some of the worst stuff was taking the mickey out of Harvey Price.
"There are a lot of messages about him, I'm told.
"These are the people who are supposed to be looking after us and are supposed to be out in these communities."
The eight officers have been placed on restricted duties while the investigation is being carried out, the Daily Mail reported.
After the news emerged, Katie posted a video of Harvey giving his message to the police officers.
Harvey threw his index finger, in the same way, a middle finger would be used, up to the cops.
"Harvey, what do you want to say?" Katie asked him, to which he replied: "I don’t like the police being horrible to Harvey."
