Katie Price's dash to rehab after bankruptcy and love split send her spiralling

Katie Price checked into rehab again after a hellish few months saw her lose almost everything in her life.

The 41-year-old former glamour model opens up about her return to The Priory in an upcoming special episode of her reality TV show, Katie Price : My Crazy Life, and spoke candidly about her reasons for heading back in the teaser trailer.

Filming herself from inside the bare room at her rehab clinic, Katie tells the camera: "I've decided to check in as an in-patient. It's been something that's been brewing for a while, there's only so much I can take as a human being."

In a clip filmed after her discharge, Katie tells best friend Rick Live: "Everything just got to me. The only reason I'm sitting here now is because of my children."

She then tells the camera: "I've been to hell and back, but I'm starting to feel like me again."

Katie fled back to rehab earlier this year after being made bankrupt for failing to pay off her debts in the autumn.

She then split from toyboy fiance Kris Boyson and heard more bad news about mum Amy's terminal lung condition.

In February she was papped outside the famous south-west London facility, where she'd checked in 16 months previously to deal with her drink and cocaine binges.

It was in there that she was diagnosed with co-morbid PTSD and stayed for a month for treatment.

When she was rumoured to be checking in again this year, Katie furiously denied being an in-patient.

"Yes, that's right. When you do TV you have to see a psych because there's people taking their own lives so they have to make sure you're mentally stable. And I am," she told her Instagram followers at the time.

"I'm not The Priory for any reason other than filming my TV show for Quest."

Since being discharged, Katie has attempted to turn her life around by taking herself off social media - although she's now returned - and has moved house to Surrey with eldest son Harvey after losing her mucky mansion.

The mum of five has spoken of her fears for Harvey, 17, and for her terminally ill mum Amy Price during the coronavirus pandemic, and so has taken the decision not to see her younger children - Junior, Princess, Jett and Bunny - for the duration of lockdown.
