Katie Price's cosmetic surgery 'wrecking sex life' as she fears for weeping wounds

In the past nine months, Katie Price has been nipped, tucked, lifted and tweaked in a series of gruelling cosmetic procedures.

But Pricey's never-ending mission to get the face and figure of her dreams has come with its drawbacks - with her sex life apparently being effected now.

Katie, 42, who is currently dating toyboy Charles Drury, is said to be feeling anything but sexy as she recovers from her latest work, that included a face lift, butt enhancement, boob reduction and eye lift.

A source told Closer : "Her skin is extremely sensitive and her stitches can tear and weep easily. She wants to give Charles a good time, but she's behaving like an old lady, because she's worried the stitches could come out."

And far from giving her the body-confidence she craves, Katie's surgery wounds are said to be making her feel even more insecure.

"Katie is distraught," said the insider. "The scars are so bad, she can't look at herself in the mirror naked. She's been desperately asking photographers to Photoshop out all the scarring and nasty bruising, as she is getting increasingly frustrated with how long it has taken her to heal. She did all this to boost her confidence and bag Charles, but she worries that will all go out the window if she doesn't look as good as she wants to. "

Mum-of-five Katie was pictured in Turkey with her new man Charles earlier this month after reportedly dumping fiancé Kris Boyson by text message.

Kris was said to be devastated by the split and was seen hauling Katie's possessions out of his home in bin bags as she holidayed with her new man.

But last week Katie appeared to throw personal trainer Kris a lifeline by commenting on a topless Instagram photo of him.

She then played it coy when asked about her love life during a radio interview.

In conversation with Flex FM's Rick Live, Katie was asked to confirm what was going on.

"Everything's up in the air at the moment," she replied.

Pricey then added: "All I'm saying is everyone shouldn't judge me. Everything happens behind closed doors."

She then told listeners: "I'm not a mug."
