Katie Price's Barbie car hits £66,000 bids on eBay

Katie Price’s Barbie jeep attracted bids of more than £66,000 hours after it was listed on eBay.

The former glamour model, 40, is attempting to sell the pink 2001 Suzuki Vitara after being banned from driving for three months.

Some 202 bids have been placed with the current standing at £66,200. Fans have until January 25 to make an offer. The buyer is invited to pay in cash on collection.

Price listed the vehicle this week, telling users that 10 per cent of the money will be donated to charity.

She posted a link to the auction site on Instagram, telling her followers: “Soo now I’m banned from driving the cars are going this one is on eBay.

“When I get my license back new car fresh start.”

Katie Price given fresh ban for driving while disqualified

A description of the vehicle, which is plastered with Barbie stickers, reads: “A well-known Suzuki Vitara that has undergone an extensive exterior re-wrap inc lowered suspension wheel arch kit and wide wheels and tyres.

“The soft top requires replacement and the mot has expired, the owner has requested to sell the car with no reserve and no buy it now…”

Price pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified and without insurance at Crawley Magistrates Court last week. She was banned from driving for three months and fined £1,100.

She recently came under fire on Instagram for showing off pictures of her newly decorated home and of her new German Shepherd puppy, despite telling a judge that she would be unable to pay the £1,100 fine.
