Katie Price's agony as she's banned from staying by Harvey's side in hospital

Katie Price has spoken of her agony at being restricted from spending more time with Harvey.

The mum-of-five's eldest son is in hospital and spent days in intensive care following a terrifying health scare.

Harvey was rushed to hospital after struggling to breathe and was at risk of organ failure.

Thankfully, he's now been moved from intensive care and is on the road to recovery.

Katie, 42, has hit back after receiving criticism for being seen doing other things, like getting her hair done while her son is in hospital.

But she's pointed out that although she'd love to be with him 24/7, she's unable to.

Speaking in a new YouTube video, Katie says: "Harvey's been in hospital for the past five days and I can't visit him the whole time because you're not allowed and because of COVID."

Katie explained she's been "doing stuff she needs to do" between visits.

She said: "A lot of people are saying 'You should be with Harvey, you should be with Harvey', well yeah I should be, but I'm not allowed, it's as simple as that.

"When he was at Great Ormond Street I was allowed to be in the room with him the whole time, now he's 18 and he's got rushed to Epsom Hospital, he's in a ward - not in a ward, in intensive care - you're hardly allowed anyone there and because of COVID it's not that easy.

"You only get certain visiting hours and obviously I'm there when I can because of it, but in between, what am I gonna to do? Just sit at home and wait for the clock to go so I see Harvey?

"No. I need to stimulate myself as well. So to make me feel good and things that I do for myself is ride, walk my dog, go on a sunbed, I even got my hair done last night and got my nails done."

She added: "At the beginning of the week I wasn't sure what was happening with Harvey, but he's still not coming out of hospital.

"They've discovered things about him, and I'm not ready to reveal what they are, but they have discovered things which is why he's still in hospital.

"That's all I can say, but he has turned a corner, he's now talking, he's absolutely fine but they're doing what they need to do with him.

"In his attitude, I've got my Harvey Price back, he's on form so that's why I'm smiling."
