Katie Price has revealed she loves ex-husband Peter Andre despite branding him a “hypocrite” and “selfish”.
The former glamour model, 40, shares son Junior, 13, and daughter Princess, 11, with the singer who she was married to for four years before calling it quits in 2009.
Price claimed a mystery third party was to blame for her tense relationship with Andre before revealing they are on good terms and apologising for her recent public outbursts.
She tweeted: “I had a tough year last year! A person stirred trouble with me and Pete which he reacted to protect our children! Yes I said things but I was upset and didn’t mean harm!
“Me and Pete love each other really lol! I’m sorry @MrPeterAndre if I hurt you!”
Andre replied: “Do you know what, I really appreciate you saying that. Thank you.”
Price’s tweet comes weeks after she slated Andre on Good Morning Britain, accusing him of not allowing their two children to feature on her reality TV show My Crazy Life.
“He won’t allow me to film with them, he won’t allow me to do photoshoots with them and he’s been such a hypocrite but unfortunately these days you need both parents’ permission,” she told Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid.
“I want to put it out there that he’s really selfish and the kids are missing out on it. I don’t know why he’s doing it.”
Days later she returned to the breakfast show and branded him her “worst” husband.
Price and Andre married in September 2005 after meeting on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here before separating in 2009.
Price went on to marry MMA fighter Alex Reid before marrying Kieran Hayler in January 2013. They have two children together: son Jett, five, and daughter Bunny, four. She also has 16-year-old son Harvey with ex-footballer Dwight Yorke.
Andre has five-year-old Amelia and two-year-old son Theodore with wife Emily MacDonagh.
