Katie Price returns to Loose Women for first time in two years to give Harvey update

Katie Price returned to Loose Women on Friday lunchtime and she did not disappoint.

The 42-year-old star was previously a regular panellist on the ITV show between 2015 and 2018, but was reportedly dropped after "her life spiralled out of control".

However, Katie is in a much better place now and is in a loving relationship with boyfriend Carl Woods and recently celebrated one year of being sober.

Katie was keen to discuss her recent BBC documentary, Katie Price: Harvey and Me, and her relationship with her eldest child, who is disabled.

Revealing she's had a great response, Katie admitted hearing about the possibility of Harvey being sectioned was hard to hear.

"That really frightened me," she told the Loose Women panel. "It's tragic. If you put Harvey in a room, he wouldn’t understand why he’s in that room and he would kick off."

Speaking about the documentary, she continued: "It just goes to show the connection we have and how hard it is, and hopefully it was educational to people.

"I think because people have judged me as a person, but in the documentary it doesn’t matter what job I do, that’s stripped back, a journey between a mother and her son.

"I am just a real person and I am just a mum with a child who has complex needs," she added:

Loose Women had teased Katie's appearance on their official Twitter account on Friday morning.

They wrote: "On Friday's #LooseWomen we're catching up with Katie Price, who'll be sharing the full story about son Harvey and telling us what's in store for her in 2021 and beyond."

Katie's appearance comes after she revealed she will be "disabled for life" following the accident she had in Turkey last year.

The former glamour model injured both of her feet in a fall from a 25 foot wall while on holiday in 2020.

She now faces more surgery to have her legs aligned and cannot stay on her feet for more than 20 minutes at a time.

Katie has described the constant pain that she is in after the arch on one of her feet collapsed and that she is needing physiotherapy sessions four times a week in a bid to bring some comfort to her injuries.
