Katie Price recruits tow truck to move her car as she discusses driving ban

Katie Price made a point of showing everyone she'd recruited a tow truck to move her car rather than drive it herself after being accused of breaching her driving ban.

The former glamour model, 42, was reportedly seen by a neighbour driving her boyfriend Carl Woods' white BMW 4x4 onto the driveway of the rented Surrey mansion she'd been living in.

The neighbour claimed to have seen her driving last Monday, despite the fact that her 18-month driving ban is still in place for a few more weeks.

One day after she was allegedly seen driving Carl's car, she was pictured behind the wheel of a Range Rover in Hertfordshire.

Katie had reportedly driven her own pink Volkswagen Beetle from her 'Mucky Mansion' in West Sussex to her temporary home in Ashtead for much of the 28-mile journey before swapping cars with Carl and driving the Range Rover.

Pictures published by The Sun showed Katie in the driver's seat.

It's said that while the claims were reported to police, it can not be investigated due to a lack of evidence.

Now, Katie made a point of showing everyone she wasn't getting behind the wheel as she moved her car away from the rented home she's vacating.

She shared a pair of snaps of her car on the back of a tow truck and tagged the company as she thanked them for taking it away.

She wrote: "Thank you for collecting my Beetle as I can't drive yet".

When Katie was accused of driving while banned, a source had told the publication: "A neighbour saw Katie pulling Carl’s car on to the driveway. It was incredibly risky of her.

"They couldn't believe it as they knew she was still disqualified, so felt they had to contact police.

"She even had the brass neck to then get back on the roads the next day. It's mind-boggling – she was going to be caught sooner or later."

A spokesperson for Surrey Police said: "We received a report of a 42-year-old woman allegedly driving while disqualified around 2.10pm on Friday.

"The incident is believed to have taken place during the afternoon last Monday in Ashtead.

"The information has been reviewed, and given that it is hearsay evidence, it would be disproportionate to take any further action."

Katie was banned from driving for two years in October 2019, but it was cut to 18 months on appeal.

Driving while disqualified can can a penalty of six months in jail and an unlimited fine.

Katie's representatives did not want to comment when contacted by the Mirror.
