Katie Price puts on sizzling display as she slips into bikini for smear test campaign

Katie Price has been praised for throwing her support behind a national campaign that encouraged women to get their smear test.

The 42-year-old former glamour model, who recently announced her engagement to Carl Woods, sent social media into meltdown as she slipped into a striking red bikini for a good cause.

In the post, the mum of five admitted that she felt ‘honoured’ to represent the campaign and encouraged all women to complete their smear test to help detect cervical abnormalities

In the post that Katie shared with her 2.5 million Instagram followers, the reality star slipped into a striking red number as she urged others to attend their screenings.

“I’m so honoured to join @misspap’s DON’T MISS YOUR PAP movement which urges all women and anyone with a cervix to attend their cervical screening tests,” Katie wrote.

“Their amazing underwear set is available in red and black and come with a poppable crotch for easier examination and for women to feel empowered when attending. We should be loud and proud ladies, it’s genius and I love mine! 100% of all sales go to @eveappeal charity.

Katie added: “Please pap it in your diary and attend your appointments guys as it could save your life. #dontmissyourpap #misspap.”

Naturally, Katie was inundated with compliments as fans flocked to share their appreciation for the post.

“Thank you so much for sharing and supporting,” penned one fan.

“Wowza you look awesome ! There’s only one pricey,” added a second.

Lots of other women that followed Katie also spoke about their own experiences of having a smear test and getting their results. Katie received lots of praise for supporting the cause.

Katie is certainly not the only celebrity to have signed up to the Misspap launch. Other stars that have used their platforms for good included Love Island ’s Belle Hassan, Joanna Chimonides and Gabby Allen.

Katie’s latest campaign comes shortly after the star revealed that she was finally getting married to Carl Woods.

The lovebirds, who met last year, appear to have gone from strength to strength in their relationship and have made no secret of their plans to try and have a baby.

At the end of April, Katie was over the moon to confirm that Carl had finally popped the question.

The pair have already spoken about wedding plans - although have kept tight-lipped about the finer details of their big day. However, they have continued to share lots of loved up snaps on social media as they express their excitement about saying their vows.
