Reality star Katie Price has been warned she could face prison after she admitted breaching a restraining order which barred her from contacting her ex-husband’s new partner.

The model and mother-of-five, 44, was accused of harassing Michelle Penticost with a message sent to her former husband, Kieran Hayler, about his fiancée.

Appearing at Lewes Crown Court on Wednesday morning, Price pleaded guilty to breaching a restraining order.

Judge Stephen Mooney warned Price: “Clearly you have accepted responsibility for this offence and that you indirectly tried to communicate Ms Penticost despite her restraining order against you.

“I must warn you Ms Price that you are at risk of going to prison.”

At an earlier hearing, the former glamour model elected a trial by jury and denied the offence. But she changed her stance after arriving at court today.

Price was fined £415 in 2019 for hurling a foul-mouthed “tirade of abuse” against Ms Penticost in a school playground. The court also handed her a five-year restraining order.

However she broke the terms of the court order by indirectly contacting Ms Penticost in a text to Mr Hayler.

An earlier court hearing was told the message read: “Tell your c***ing whore, piece of s**t, girlfriend not to start on me.

“She has a restraining order so shouldn’t try antagonise me as she is in breach and I’m sure she doesn’t want people knowing that she was having an affair with you behind my back. That gutter slag.”

Price, from Horsham, was arrested for the restraining order breach in January this year.

It is believed the message was sparked by an Instagram post by Ms Penticost, which she denies was aimed at Price.

The former glamour model wore a black coat, black leggings and white boots as she appeared in court supported by her reality TV star fiance Carl Woods, who sat in the public gallery.

She was set free on bail until a sentencing hearing on June 24.

When she broke the restrainng order, Price was serving a 16-week suspended prison sentence for a drink drive near to her home in Sussex when she was uninsured and did not have a valid licence.

In that court hearing, the judge said Price “deserved” to be jailed but she was unable to impose that penalty due to the earlier decisions of a different judge.

Price has a long list of past convictions for driving offences, and she is due back in court again next month when she is accused of speeding.
