Katie Price planning to enter the Olympics in Equestrian Dressage event

She’s only just out of The Priory – but nothing’s going to stop Katie Price from getting back in the saddle.

The mum-of-five has long harboured a nagging desire to win an Olympic gold medal.

The Celebrity SAS flop star first announced she wanted to compete in equestrian dressage for Team GB wa-hay back in 2008.

But despite missing her chance in London 2012 and Rio 2016, the newly-positive post-therapy Katie, 41, is now champing at the bit to finally realise her old ambition.

“I have come a long way in the past few months,” the glamour girl formerly know as Jordan said.

“I feel reborn. I have positive plans for the future. I still hope to get that Olympic gold. I’m setting the bar high as always. See it, dream it and it will happen.”

Katie – who is self-isolating with eldest son Harvey, 17, and Dreamboy pal Al Warrell, 23 – checked herself into The Priory Hospital in Roehamp-ton for four weeks in February.

It came after a break-up, bankruptcy and constant drama saw her turn to cocaine and even consider suicide.

Katie Price reveals she has 'been a mess'

“It got to the point that I was either going to kill myself, or…” she says on tonight’s Katie Price: My Crazy Life. “I had thoughts of
how I was going to do it.”

Yet now Katie 2.0 6.0 8.0 has parked “car-crash Katie” and her gear for good, saying (a la Bridget Jones): “I’m learning to love myself just the way I am.”

But it’s not just the horses that she hopes could bring her glory.

We’re also in for A Whole New World of, um, joy as she prepares to release her new single Heartbroken, claiming: “It’s my best work to date.”

Who could forget her duet with ex Peter Andre? So remind me, Katie: what was that you said about setting the bar high again?*

  • Katie Price: My Crazy Life is on at 10pm on Quest Red and dplay.

*I’m only horsing around.
