Katie Price pictured back behind the wheel two months after driving ban

Katie Price has been pictured back behind the wheel just two months after she was banned from driving.

The former glamour girl, 40, who is not allowed to drive until her ban is lifted in May, posed defiantly in a stationary car to plug her latest promotion on Instagram .

She was advertising a pair of sliders, which could be seen as she tucked one foot by the pedals and left the other dangling out of the driver's door.

The post came two weeks after she was seen posing in front of a luxury car for another social media ad.

Katie was initially banned from the roads for three months back in January after pleading guilty to driving while disqualified and not having third-party insurance for her motor vehicle.

Her ban was extended in February after another court appearance, during which she was found guilty of being drunk while in charge of a motor vehicle.

It stemmed from an incident back in October when she was found slumped in the back of her pink Range Rover after going out to celebrate boyfriend Kris Boyson's birthday.

The legal issues mean Katie won't get her licence back until May 24, so posing behind the wheel of a car for an Instagram plug may not have been the wisest choice for the telly star.

The car post appeared on Katie's Instagram page today as she celebrated Mother's Day.

She shared a sweet picture of her mum Amy, who is suffering from a terminal lung condition, and wrote: "Happy Mother’s Day to my lovely mum love this picture.

"Hope all you mummy’s have a lovely day KP xx."

The telly star later added an inspiration quote wishing a happy Mother's Day to all the "mums, step-mums, the not-mums yet, the should be mums and those without mums."

Katie wrote: "Happy Mother’s Day to all. I love being a mum to my kids it’s the best thing always tell your mum how much you love her.

"Mine is so special thanks for always being by my side. have a lovely day all xx."
