Katie Price moves back into 'manky mansion' after splashing £250,000 on makeover

Katie Price has reportedly moved back into her mansion after giving it a £250,000 makeover.

The mum, 40, and her kids have been staying with her boyfriend Kris Boyson, 30, at his home while her pad was undergoing renovations worth thousands.

She was said to have drafted in a team of builders and decorators to transform the mansion, the Mirror reports .

Pictures taken earlier in June showed building works taking place at the house, with the swimming pool being cleaned up and a new cover put on.

They are also said to have cleared out all the rubbish that had been piling up as well as unused while goods that had been left to rot.

Katie's property was also said to have been covered in animal mess, which has also reportedly been cleared up - so the house no longer smells of cat wee.

A source told The Sun Online : "Katie has decided she’s ready to move back home after cleaning the place up.

“She’s... got rid of all the nasty smells."

While the work was taking place, Katie was pending most of her time with Kris and his mum in their three-bed semi in Kent — along with her brood of kids.

Harvey, 17, Jett, five, and Bunny, four, were squeezing into the house full time, with things becoming even more cramped when Junior, 13, and Princess, 11, come to stay.

The telly star has been struggling financially in recent years, and narrowly swerved bankruptcy in 2018.

She even considered putting the seven-bedroomed mansion on the market as she had fallen behind with repairs and it was costing around £10,000 a month to maintain.

Mirror Online has contacted Katie's representative for comment.
