Katie Price has slammed influencers who broke lockdown rules over the Covid pandemic as she eased into her first holiday after the travel ban was lifted on Monday.
The lucky ex-glamour model, 42, jetted out one of the first flights out of London to Portugal yesterday with her fiancé Carl Woods in tow.
Katie revealed their Ryanair flights cost just £7 each before explaining that Carl had treated her to the holiday to celebrate her 43rd birthday in style.
The mum was quick to point out to her critics that she has been following the lockdown rules closely over the last year before slamming influencers who headed off on 'work trips' during the pandemic.
"I'd just like to say that I've been dying for a holiday but I've been living and breathing lockdown with every British citizen," said Katie in a video.
"Not trying to make out I'm an 'influencer' just to get me to Dubai and other places just to do 'pictures for Instagram '.
"So British public now if you can book a holiday. But PCR tests you have to do them. They are expensive," she advised.
Katie then revealed that the multiple Covid tests she's been required to take cost more that her actual holiday.
"It's so nice to be in the sun and I'm sorry it's raining at home," she said.
Sharing snippets from her travels so far, Katie said: "I would like to stay that our flights from Stansted Airport today is one of the best times I've gone through customs, security, check-ins.
"It went smoothly... although it was quite quiet at the airport," she added.
Carl then piped up: "You shouldn't be on holiday your bankrupt."
"They say I'm bankrupt, hard-up but I'm loved-up, sunned-up and having luck and I'm in luck. Why? Because I'm in the sun," bragged the mum-of-five.
Katie also shared more details from her break, including a video of her sipping from a coconut on the beach and some shots of her sun-soaked swimming pool.
