Katie Price joins dating app as she vows to get lucky in love at last

Katie Price is so desperate to find a new man that she has helped to create a new dating app.

The unlucky-in-love former model has yet to meet her forever guy after failed marriages to Peter Andre, Kieran Hayler and Alex Reid.

Last year she revealed she and boyfriend Kris Boyson were engaged but they split a few months after.

Now she is hoping to find her 'appy ending with a number of celebs, reports The Sun.

Katie has teamed up Jack Fincham, Pete Wicks and Joshua Ritchie to get Love At First Swipe off the ground as they launch a virtual date function.

She said: "With Covid lockdown what better and safer way is there to date?"

The mum of five is going to new lengths to try and meet the man of her dreams even though it appears being single is not big problem for her.

A source added: "Katie is happier than ever with her single independent status and is looking forward to her speed date with the competition winner, she's been through a lot but she certainly hasn't lost her sexy, sassy side - Katie’s is on fire."

The star's life is getting back on track and she is three months sober following a stint in rehab.

But her 42nd birthday is just a matter of days away - and she doesn't plan on letting being holded up at home get in the way of having fun.

Katie is keen for a 'covid-style' cocktail party and she will say goodbye to her booze ban next week with her family and friends all watching on.

Strict Katie hasn't touched a drop for three months but isn't planning on letting her big day pass without enjoying a drink or two.

According to The Sun, the ex-glamour model has very big bash planned.

A friend said: "This year Katie is planning on hosting a lockdown party to celebrate turning 42.

"She plans to address her family, friends and supporters in a birthday speech and ask them to all raise a toast to everyone in the world who are united in this pandemic.

"After three months sober, Katie says she's going to keep boozing to special occasions so will treat herself to a birthday cocktail and show her guests how to make her favourite alcoholic drink."
