Katie Price has bowed out of the limelight.
The reality star, 42, was spurred into taking action after doctors issued her with a stern warning about her health.
It's doctors' orders the former glamour model takes time to rest in order to heal - especially having recently broken her feet in a horror holiday accident.
Her latest statement read: "Katie is taking some time out of the media spotlight.
"Her family and doctors have told Katie that she must rest in order to heal.
"Katie wants to thank everyone for their ongoing support and will be back when she feels ready."
It's not known how long Katie will drop off the celebrity radar for.
No doubt the TV sensation will make a huge comeback as this isn't the first time she has taken a step back from the celebrity microscope.
She's has been in great agony since she broke her feet in a freak accident while on holiday in Turkey with her new boyfriend Carl Woods and two of her children.
Over the weekend, the businesswoman was rushed back to hospital with a suspected infection.
Already the Instagram star has suffered through six-hours of gruelling surgery on her broken feet on her arrival back in the UK.
The mother-of-five had been keeping her fans constantly in the loop with updates from hospital about how she had been doing.
It's believed the social media influencer may not be able to walk again for up to a year.
Her boyfriend Carl has been on hand to help and her doting children - mainly her eldest Harvey - have been tending to her every need.
In the romance department, Katie has been happily in love with her new boyfriend Carl after their romance took off over a month ago.
Only on Thursday, the bombshell credited her love Carl for being her rock and she insisted she couldn't do it without him.
She wrote: "I'm so happy I have the right people around me being in a situation feeling your lowest, I feel safe.
"@carljwoods is my Rock and couldn't do this journey without him."
Earlier in the week, rumours were flying Katie had plans to set up her own X-rated subscription to OnlyFans.
Many reality stars - from Megan Barton Hanson, of Love Island fame, and her celeb BFF Kerry Katona - have joined up to the site during the lockdown period.
