Katie Price hits out at trolls after 'tragic accident' leads to puppy death

Katie Price has urged trolls to stop posting cruel comments after facing criticism over the death of her daughter's puppy.

The Mirror reports that Rolo, a gift for Princess on her 13th birthday, suffocated when it was crushed in an electric-powered armchair.

It is claimed that the little French bulldog died instantly after he got caught up in the mechanism of the chair while Katie, 42, was out of the room.

Princess, Katie's daughter with ex-husband Peter Andre, spoke out about Rolo's death in a video on Thursday in which she said: "Just to say guys, I'm absolutely devastated with Rolo.

"I can't even speak properly about it.

"Obviously we know what's happened, my family, but no one actually knows what happened, so the people saying he got hit by a car and all of this, no guys, you don't know what happened."

The Mirror adds that Katie was "gifted" the puppy by breeders JRC Bullies and a spokesperson for them told the paper: "We are heartbroken that this has happened as we told Katie not to leave a small puppy on its own.

"We can’t believe that the puppy was left unattended as we had left strict instructions.”

Katie broke her silence on the death in a comment on JRC Bullies' Instagram post about Rolo's death in which they denied accusations they were to blame.

They wrote: "We visited the property, we saw exactly where he would be living, we settled him in before leaving and then we kept in contact with @officialprincess_andre to check on him, we were there 24 hours a day for her with advice and support if it was needed. People saying we should of (sic) done background checks well we did.

"Rolo’s death was a tragic accident that had nothing at all to do with his health or @jrcbullies."

Taking aim at trolls, Katie wrote: "Everyone the tragic death of my daughters puppy Rolo is absolutely nothing to do with the breeders and anybody blaming them should be ashamed of themselves, the breeders are absolutely amazing look after the all the dogs and puppy’s at their home.

"It’s Amazing clean and professional from day one and a absolutely lovely family so stop trolling them as you are the kind of protons who need to be on the register for trolling when Harveys law is in place!

"It’s nobody’s fault and something that happened tragically we are all devastated about so instead of pointing fingers think of how we are all feeling so respect us all."
