Katie Price hits back at critics saying she shouldn't sleep with son Harvey in her bed

Katie Price has hit back at critics who blasted her for sleeping in the same bed as her son Harvey when he returned home for Christmas.

The glamour model, 44, was shamed over clips of Harvey, 20, snoring in Katie's bed on Christmas Eve.

Harvey, who lives in a residential facility, has severe autism, a rare complex genetic condition called Prader-Willi syndrome, and is partially blind.

He returned home to his mum for Christmas, with Katie showing their sleeping arrangements for the night on her Instagram.

The mum-of-five wrote in the caption of the video of Harvey snoring: "Already Harvey’s home and getting in my bed like a baby wanting cuddles [four love heart emojis]."

Some slammed Katie for the clip, claiming it was inappropriate and an invasion of his privacy while others questioned if it was healthy.

But now Katie has brushed off any criticism with a clip of her eldest son on her stories in which he tells her fans how happy he is to have slept well.

“Who’s a happy man? Are you a happy man today?” Katie could be heard asking him.

“Oh yeah,” Harvey said while holding a tablet to his ear.

The mum-of-five asked: “Why are you a happy man?”

“Because I’m so happy I’ve slept really well,” Harvey replied with a smile.

Katie continued: “Do you know what? So did mum because you didn’t wake me up, did you?”

“No,” Harvey beamed before his mum added, “I love it, I love it, Harv.”

Despite the criticism, many fans and fellow mums stuck up for the OnlyFans star, taking to her original post to praise her for the original video.

Sticking up for Katie, one fan wrote: "My son is 25, non-verbal autistic still occasionally comes in for a cuddle. He is and always will be my baby, our boys clearly still need to comfort and reassurance. Enjoy these precious moments. Merry Christmas."

One person said: "His happy and is loved what more can I say big up man like Harvey legend [love heart emoji]."

A third wrote: "Why do people have to be so rude… are you forgetting that KP has suffered with her mental health and you think your comments are going to make her feel better!?"

Earlier on Christmas Eve, Katie shared a video with her 2.6M followers as she and Harvey excitedly got ready for the big day - revealing they would be 'leaving out cookies for Santa Clause'.

"Are you excited Harv?" Katie asked her son, who replied: "Yeah, because it's Christmas Eve".

"It is, and Santa is coming tonight. We gotta put some cookies out, some milk," the mum-of-five added in the sweet video.
