Katie Price 'hires nutritionist to help son Harvey lose 10st' after revealing he weighs 29st

Katie Price has reportedly hired a top nutritionist to help her son Harvey lose 10 stone.

The former glamour model's eldest child weighs 29 stone, and she has enlisted the help of Jennifer Harper-Deacon in a bid to help her son lose weight, according to The Sun.

It comes after Katie, 42, revealed she has made the difficult decision to put Harvey into care now he's 18.

She previously revealed that Harvey keeps putting on weight and she struggles to put him on a diet as he throws tantrums when he is refused food.

Jennifer was named health journalist of the year in 2008 and has regularly appeared on TV to give health advice.

She is described on her website as "a qualified & registered naturopath, nutritionist, herbalist, acupuncturist, healer and award-winning journalist".

Jennifer has previously worked with professional athletes, including Olympic medallists, international rugby players and pro golfers.

The Mirror has contacted Katie's rep for comment.

Earlier this week Katie explained her reasons for putting Harvey into full-time care.

She told The Sun : "It breaks my heart. I don't want him to think I'm just getting rid of him."

The mum-of-five said she has spent six months visiting different colleges in the hope of finding her first born the very best.

Katie has raised Harvey as a single mum without involvement from his dad, former footballer Dwight Yorke.

Last year, Harvey started at a residential school for five days, returning home at weekends, but he has been unable to attend because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Katie added: "It's so upsetting to think I won't see him every day but this is the best thing for Harvey and we have to think positively.

"This is his chance to live an independent life, learn skills and socialise with people other than me."
