Katie Price 'gutted' to receive 'absolutely devastating' news about her broken feet

Katie Price has received 'absolutely devastating' news about her broken feet.

The former glamour model broke both feet and ankles in a freak accident in Turkey, and in an Instagram update she revealed she told fans that she's 'gutted' by the prognosis.

Katie, 42, did not elaborate on the state of her feet after the visit to a consultant and surgeon.

In an Instagram Stories video she had previously promised to keep her followers informed while being driven to her appointment.

In her update Katie wrote: "Just finished my appointment with my consultant and surgeon about my feet.

"After further scans, the news is absolutely devastating. I'm gutted."

On her way to the appointment Katie admitted she was 'really scared.'

"I'm really scared, I just don't want it to hurt but I'll keep you updated," she said.

The mother-of-five, who was holidaying with Junior and Princess her two children with her first husband Peter Andre and her boyfriend Carl Woods, hasn't yet revealed how she sustained the injuries.

The former Celebrity Big Brother winner previously revealed that she may not be able to walk for up to six months, or possibly longer.

From her holiday she made an appeal to fans for help finding a mobility scooter and wheelchair upon her return to the UK.

Addressing her fans on Instagram Stories she asked: "Does anybody know or can someone get in contact where I can hire a mobility scooter and a wheelchair that I can use when I get back?"

Paying homage to her man she said: "@carljwoods is being amazing looking after me #reallove #bestgentleman #wordscantdecribemyloveforhim #hismyworld."

Fans rushed to send get well messages and her ex husband Kieran Hayler pressed the facepalming emoji to express his shock.
