Katie Price had opened up about the possibilities of spending Christmas behind bars following her drink-drive crash before swerving jail today.
The former glamour model crashed her BMW on a country road in September and admitted to driving whilst intoxicated.
Following the crash, Katie pleaded guilty to drink driving, driving whilst disqualified and driving without insurance, and shared her regret, admitting she could have killed someone.
After she spent a number of weeks in the Priory rehabilitation clinic, Katie opened up about the error of her ways as she shared her deep regrets over getting behind the wheel of her car intoxicated.
The mother-of-five took to her YouTube channel to share her regrets as she admitted that she could face jail time.
Speaking on a tell-all video on Youtube, Katie sat alongside Carl and said: "I got behind the wheel of the car. I regret it. I have upset people around me, and I have upset myself.
"I could have been hurt or I could have been dead. I could have killed someone, or I could have injured someone."
And ahead of her sentencing, Katie insisted that she was taking the possibility of prison seriously.
Taking to Instagram, Katie wrote: "It seems that at the moment the media won’t leave me alone and are trying to portray that I’m not taking this situation serious.
"Well, I’m here to confirm that I definitely am."
Katie recently told her friends that she 'hopes she won't go to prison' as her sentencing date gets closer.
A source has told OK! magazine that Katie has spoken to her pals on her hopes for the sentencing.
They claimed: “There’s a lot of speculation about what will happen, but Katie is telling pals she hopes she won't be going to prison.
"She sought treatment in The Priory following her crash and has been seeing a therapist weekly.”
Katie previously shared her hopes of spending Christmas at home with her loved-ones.
The 43-year-old star said that all she wants is to have a quiet Christmas period with her 19-year-old son Harvey and her fiancé, Carl Woods.
Katie told OK! Magazine that four other children, Junior, 16, Princess, 14, Jett, 7, and Bunny, 6, were all heading to their dad's homes because last year, she was lucky enough to have all her five kids around the dinner table.

"The plan is that Harvey will be home for Christmas and New Year. It will be me, Harvey and Carl," Katie told.
"I don’t have the other kids this year as it’s their dads’ turns because I had them last year.
"And then obviously I’ll see my mum and my family. We’ll be at my house in Horsham – I’m back here for good and I’m loving it."
A source and close friend of Katie's also told The Sun that her Christmas plans were intact despite the possible loom of a prison sentence.

“She is happily planning Christmas. All of her plans for next year are intact," the source revealed.
"Some of those close to her are worried she is in denial about the situation she is in.
"When she is asked, her response is that she has been to The Priory, and they will let her off because her family — Amy and Harvey — need her."
They went on: “But the crimes she has admitted are serious and some are concerned she is burying her head in the sand.”

Katie's drink-drive crash has also hindered how often she gets to see her son Harvey.
The former glamour model recently admitted that she's finding it very difficult not being able to visit her teenage son after he secured a place at National Star residential college in Cheltenham earlier this year.
"It's been hard. Before I felt better knowing that I was getting my driving licence back in December so I could drive to him whenever I wanted," Katie told OK! Magazine.

"Now, I’m trying to get my head around the fact that I’m going to be banned from driving for a long time.
"It's hard, but I know Harvey is happy there," she added.
District Judge Kelly has sentenced Katie to a 16 weeks prison sentence, suspended for 12 months.
Katie will also have to undergo 100 hours of unpaid work in community.
Her driving ban has been kept to two years and Katie will not have to take an extended driving test.
There will be no separate penalty for the charge of driving without insurance.
