Katie Price fans urge her to stop 'giving trolls ammunition' by posting pictures of Harvey

Katie Price has been criticised by fans who fear she “gives trolls ammunition” by posting photos of her son Harvey online.

The former model came under fire from Instagram followers who took aim at the 16-year-old’s latest post which shows him posing in a big bow tie and comedy glasses.

The shot was captioned “Morning” followed by three frog emojis, in reference to Harvey’s favourite animal.

Fans were quick to question why Price had posted the image on his account with one writing: “His account should be private to stop trolls and his mum should do this before putting pics up.”

Another said: “Well cute! Would be cuter for just his close family and friends could see this to avoid people trolling! This comments for you Katie! Get his Instagram locked down to private if you want Harvey’s law to be taken seriously, you are giving sick trolls ammunition!”

“This is unfair to Harvey. Katie must know he’s going to get hate,” posted a third.

But others were quick to defend Price, who has been fighting to make online abuse a criminal offence, by pointing out that they can “do what they want” and that trolls shouldn’t stop Harvey sharing what he wants online.

One wrote: “So many people saying Katie is in the wrong for letting him post things that he likes. Please tell me why the hell he shouldn't?! He has interests like me and you and just like your children. Unfortunately it's a cruel world we live in but that doesn't mean Harvey shouldn't be allowed to do what he wants, when he wants.”

Another read: “Harvey is her child and she is proud of him and if she wants to post, let her be.”

“I think his face says it all.... HE LOVES IT!!! How is it cruel by doing this to him? He's dressing up, wanting to put his picture on his Instagram page because he's proud, and he looks great!” added somebody else.

A few days ago, Price ignored the cruel trolls as she shared a clip of Harvey – who has Prader-Willi syndrome and is blind and autistic – reading and “making mummy happy” .

Fans rushed to congratulate Price's eldest son as his mother lauded his "brilliant" reading.
