Katie Price fans concerned over diet as she shares what she eats in a day

Katie Price sparked concern among fans when she opened up about her average daily diet. Katie shared a video on TikTok and Instagram as part of her collaboration with the diet brand Skinny Food Co.

She shared footage of her daily food intake as she showcased different products from the Nottingham-based company. The Nottingham company's sugar-free products and healthy treats have proved a massive hit since launching in 2018. In 2022 it was named the fourth fastest growing company in the Midlands in the inaugural Sunday Times 100 rankings.

The mum-of-five began her video with Skinny Food Co porridge, before having a coffee flavoured with zero calorie syrup, the Mirror reports. She also had a snack in the car, and then filmed herself making a series of low calorie meals, including a ham and cheese baguette for her lunch and a curry for her dinner.

At the end of the video, she revealed she had consumed just 993 calories. The recommended intake for women is 2,000 per day, according to the NHS.

She said: “I’ve used @skinnyfoodco products for many years now as healthier alternative products they’re great for prepping that summer body,!” she captioned the video.

“Here’s what I eat in a day when calorie counting to ensure I’m in a calorie deficit and maintaining a balanced diet,” Katie explained. “Huge thanks to Skinny Food Co for putting so many great products back on the menu.”

Fans rushed to share their concerns and flooded the post with their views. One said: “Could do with some fresh fruit and veggies too though,” another wrote, as one fan agreed: “She needs some lean meat and vegetables and I see zero fruit." No vegetables, salad on sandwich or fruit anywhere in sight…,” one wrote, as a follower urged her to eat more nutritious food.

“Please add fruit and veg to your diet. All that processed stuff isn't good for anyone long term,” they pleaded, as another fan agreed.

While another said: "993 calories isn't enough for a whole day." Another said: “Opening up packet food is not a healthy choice. It's not the right way to lose weight, and zero vitamins and minerals,” they wrote.

But some commented in relation to the selection of the products Katie highlighted. One said: "I need to lose weight. This looks delicious,”
