Katie Price faces jail after breaching restraining order

Katie Price could be facing jail time after allegedly breaching a restraining order from ex Kieran Hayler's new fiancée.

The reality star, 43, spent Friday night in a cell after she was arrested over text messages said to have been sent to Michelle Penticost.

Police attended the former glamour model’s home in Horsham on Friday and she was taken in for questioning after she allegedly sent her ex's new partner abusive messages.

Katie ended her relationship with her husband of five years Kieran Hayler in May 2018 after he allegedly cheated on her with three women - one of which was the children’s nanny and another was Katie’s best friend of 20 years, Jane Poutney.

Katie, who shares two children with Kieran, was handed a five-year restraining order in 2019 from Michelle after she called her a "f***ing c***" during a foul-mouth tirade in the school playground.

The mum-of-five is already serving a suspended sentence for drink-driving and any restraining order breach could also violate the terms of the suspended sentence – meaning a possibility of jail time.

Breaching a restraining order carries a maximum prison sentence of five years.

In December, the two-time I'm a Celeb star received 100 hours of community service alongside a two-year driving ban and a 16-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months at Crawley magistrates court, for drink-driving without insurance while she was disqualified.

Katie pleaded guilty to the charges after flipping her car near Partridge Green in West Sussex. But despite racking up her sixth driving offence in a decade, Katie - engaged to Carl Woods, 32 - luckily avoided spending Christmas behind bars.

Following Friday's arrest, Katie was pictured leaving the police station with fiancé Carl Woods yesterday afternoon after being held by Worthing police overnight.

Sussex Police said: “At 5.45pm on Friday (21 January) police responded to a report that a suspect had breached their restraining order.

“Officers arrested a woman in her 40s who remains in custody while enquiries are ongoing.”
