Katie Price shares heartache as son Harvey is so badly trolled he trends on Twitter

Katie Price was heartbroken after her son Harvey was trending on Twitter due to the amount of cruel trolling he was the subject of.

The mum-of-five had hoped it was due to his recent charity work, and was incredibly disappointed to see people mocking him.

Harvey, who is nearly 18, was born blind and is on the autistic spectrum, and also lives with Prader-Willi syndrome.

He has recently raised a whopping £12,000 for the NHS Charity by designing and selling T-shirts himself.

Katie, 41, has long been campaigning for Harvey's Law to tackle online bullying by making it an offence.

She tweeted: "Saw Harvey Price was trending and thought perhaps people were praising him for his great efforts in raising money for @NHSCharities & @CavellTrust.

"Sadly not. #HarveysLaw".

Harvey's rainbow and frog-themed T-shirts are being sold online with profits going to the NHS charities, who have cared for him his whole life.

One fan reassured Katie: " @KatiePrice is a fantastic mum to Harvey and Harvey is a credit to her and himself! Be proud Katie. XX".

"Keep strong Katie all good people are with you and Harvey x" wrote another.

A third added: "Well let’s get him trending for the right reasons Kate... Harvey is an awesome young dude and you are right to be so proud of him".

Katie told The Sun how proud she was of Harvey, who loves to draw, for his charitable efforts.

She said: "I am so proud of him!

"Harvey loves to draw - this is Harvey doing his bit for the NHS; the doctors and nurses have been there for Harvey from the day he was born.

"Without them he wouldn't be where he is today - he’s already got loads of new designs ready to go!"

Katie has previously named and shamed trolls on her social media for their vile messages about Harvey.

But she has also offered to meet with them in a brave bid to understand them and help them see the effect their cruel words have.
