Katie Price is said to have been left devastated after her guard dog reportedly bit the tail off her pet cat.
The former glamour girl, 41, brought in a new Alsatian named Blade to keep her family safe.
However, a new report suggests the dog turned on her two bald Sphynx cats, Dobby and Hagrid, and left one serious injured.
A source told The Sun On Sunday : "He suddenly turned. Before anyone could stop him he’d ripped Dobby’s tail off.
“Katie and the kids love their animals and it was horrible for them to see the cats in pain.
“That’s why Katie got a pet counsellor.”
However, a source close to Katie has since told Mirror Online Blade was not responsible and is not even kept at the same premises as the cats.
Katie is a huge animal lover and owns a number of other dogs, including Bear and Sparkle.
She suffered another tragedy last year when her beloved German Shepherd Queenie was hit and killed by a pizza delivery driver.
Katie is currently recovering after undergoing more cosmetic surgery on her latest trip to Trukey.
She's had her third facelift, tweaks to her eyelids, another boob job and reversal of a previous bum lift.
Her fiance Kris Boyson also went under the knife during the trip and is showing off a brand new look after a nose job.
