Katie Price will soon be paying for her crimes in the form of community service.
After dodging being sent to a jail cell in court yesterday, the former glamour model, 43, will need to complete 100 hours of unpaid community work as part of her suspended sentence for drink-driving.
It's believed that the mum-of-five may argue that due to her celebrity status, she should complete her work behind-the-scenes, but she will ultimately have no say in what job she is dealt.
Katie could be sent to a home for the elderly to help out, or sort through donated and dirty clothes for charity, but she could also be assigned a role which sees her on the streets.
The shamed star could be set to don a hi-vis jacket to scrub graffiti off walls, pick up rubbish or paint some fences in a park.
Katie will be meeting with a Community Payback Supervisor in the coming days to discuss what role the Probation Service have given her.
Speaking to The Sun, an insider from the Probation Service confirmed Katie would not be in control of where she works.
"Katie and her legal team could argue that because she is in the public eye, she should be given a job inside or behind the scenes," they told the publication.
"They could well say that because of her public profile she will attract unwanted attention but the community service order is part of her punishment so it’s not for her or her lawyers to call the shots. They can only make representations."
Earlier today, Katie broke her silence regarding her drink-drive shame and insisted her recovery would be a "long process".
Following the star's arrest for crashing her car under the influence of drink and drugs, Katie's concerned family revealed that had been "worried" about the "unwell" model for some time in a now-deleted Instagram post.
On Wednesday afternoon, the judge made it clear she believed Katie "deserved to spend Christmas behind bars", but a legal loophole prevented her from doing so.
Hours after walking away from court with just a suspended sentence and community service, the mum-of-five has finally issued a lengthy statement about her horror crash in September.
"It's been a really difficult time and I'm incredibly sorry for my actions - I'm sincerely grateful nobody was hurt - I realise the damage my actions could have caused not only to another family, but to my own as well," she writes within the three-part Instagram Story.
"I'm now spending time getting better - mental health is a hidden illness and can strike at any time. The triggers that cause my anxiety and behaviour are something I'm trying to understand, come to terms with, and learn to control moving forward," she also adds.
