Katie Price could be jailed today after sending abusive messages to ex Kieran Hayler about fiancée

Katie Price could be jailed today as she heads to court accused of sending abusive texts to ex-husband Kieran Hayler calling his fiancée a 'gutter s**g '.

The former glamour model will appear after breaching a restraining order by sending the messages aimed at Kieran's partner Michelle Penticost.

The mum-of-five is scheduled for an appearance at Crawley Magistrates' Court later today.

Back in January, Katie spent 12 hours in police custody after cops arrested her at her mucky mansion.

If charged and convicted, she could face a maximum sentence of five years in prison.

Katie is said to be banned from contacting Michelle “directly or indirectly” as part of a five-year restraining order granted in 2019.

It has been alleged by sources in The Sun that Katie sent Kieran a text that branded Michelle a “"c***ing w***e piece of s***" and a "gutter s**g”.

And insiders claim that Katie was left furious hours later after seeing a cryptic social media post from Michelle that read: "If someone treats you badly, just remember that there is something wrong with them.

"Normal people don’t go around destroying other human beings."

A source close to Michelle's family told the publication: "Although the message was sent to Kieran, they both felt it was addressed to Michelle. So they got in touch with the police.

"Michelle is absolutely devastated, and feels very threatened. The message was incredibly aggressive.

"Given the restraining order that’s in place, and the fact Katie is still on a suspended sentence, it’s extraordinary she decided to lash out like this — unprovoked, too."

A Sussex Police spokesperson said at the time: "At 5.45pm on Friday (21 January) police responded to a report that a suspect had breached their restraining order. Officers arrested a woman in her 40s who has been released under investigation while enquiries continue."
