Katie Price compared to Jade Goody as she was 'too fragile' for Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins

Anna Richardson has compared Katie Price to late reality star Jade Goody and insisted she was too "fragile" to take part in Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.

Katie, 41, quit the brutal challenge show in last night's episode after struggling to keep with the other participants.

She was seen being given a tough time by Ant Middleton and the other instructors during her stint on the show, and finally gave up after a particularly gruelling sandbag challenge.

TV star Anna, 49, has now weighed in on the debate over Katie's exit - insisting it made uncomfortable viewing and scolding Channel 4 bosses for allowing her to compete when she was clearly very "fragile".

She even compared Katie to tragic reality star Jade Goody, who continued filming reality TV shows right up until her death from cancer in 2009.

In a series of tweets, Anna wrote: "Much as I am thoroughly enjoying #SASWhoDaresWins and believe me...I truly am...

"You have to question whether Katie Price is mentally well enough to really be there. I don’t find her psychological frailty 'entertaining'... it just upsets me...

"It makes me pretty uncomfortable. Feels a bit too close to Jade Goody..."

One of her followers chimed in and wrote: "I was thinking the same thing. She looks very fragile!"

Anna agreed, replying: "Couldn’t agree more. I hope she got something out of it...other than cash..."

Katie quit in last night's episode after being forced to hold a sandbag above her head.

She was seen sobbing onscreen after admitting defeat and returning to the celeb bunker.

The former glamour girl said: "It doesn't matter what anyone says to me I can cope with that, I've proved it, but I will admit I will struggle with the fitness," she went on.

"I'm so pissed off. I didn't have the strength to keep my arms up. I'm so pissed off at myself."

Katie later explained her surgically enhanced boobs were the reason she couldn't continue holding the sandbag up - as her last breast reduction scars were giving her trouble.

She told The Sun : "I pulled something in trainin.

"My breast reduction became inflamed. It was out of my control. I was gutted. I had to leave because of the pain I was in.

"I'll never take my creature comforts for granted again. I left with new life goals. I left the old Katie up there. She's not coming back."
