Katie Price commits to regular drug tests to prove she's turned life around

Katie Price has vowed to take a drug test every few months to prove to the fathers of her children that she has cleaned up her act.

The 41-year-old mum of five committed to turning her life around after she checked herself into rehab in January.

The former glamour model, who previously admitted to taking cocaine, revealed that she has been sober since leaving The Priory.

A representative for Katie explained that she is voluntarily taking the tests.

“Katie will carry on taking tests every few months - this her choice," the rep told The Sun.

“She will continue to build trust with both fathers involved in joint parenting.”

The reality star checked herself into rehab after facing a string of financial difficulties, as well as the end of her relationship with Kris Boyson.

Her publicist also recently confirmed to The Sun that her latest rehab stint was a big wake-up call.

They added: “Katie has passed both a drug and alcohol test with no traces of either in three months.

“Katie is not only determined to make the changes but to stick to them, no more second chances - Katie's had a real wake up call."

Katie almost lost her home last year because of debt and also struggled to come to terms with her mum's terminal illness.

Speaking during her recent reality show My Crazy Life, the former glamour star revealed: "I've been slowly going off the rails for just over 10 years."

In emotional scenes, she admitted that she would be in therapy ' for the rest of her life '.

Despite facing a rocky path to recovery, Katie also found the strength to change her life around thanks to her children.

Just last month Katie hinted that her children saved her life as she struggled with her demons before checking into rehab.

Since cleaning up her act, Katie has been in lockdown with her eldest son Harvey.

Katie recently had the chance to enjoy a bike ride with her children in the sunshine before they returned to their dads.
