Katie Price calls police on herself after complaints about breaking Covid rules

Katie Price called the police on herself after she received complaints she had broken Covid restrictions.

The mum-of-five had been treating her biggest fans as she delivered bath bombs to people’s homes.

However, many people online shot down her scheme, claiming it would break coronavirus guidelines.

The reality star wasn’t put off by the comments on her social media and instead called the police on herself.

She dialled 101 to check whether what she was doing was all above board and safe.

Katie explained her mother Amy was terminally ill, and said she doesn’t want to make her sick by transmitting the virus.

Speaking to a call handler on the phone, she said: "I'm not doing anything to break Covid (rules) because my mum is terminally ill, that's why I'm checking with you guys."

After a brief consideration, the 101 worker gave her the thumbs up to deliver packages while filming.

They told her: “I think it’s fine. I would say you are allowed to do it because of your business. I will put an information job on and this is what you are going to do."

On a video posted to her YouTube channel, the I’m A Celeb star shared the moment she delivered packages to fans on their doorsteps.

Katie can be seen appearing to take every precaution, wearing a mask and social distancing at all times.

She told one fan: "I checked with police because everyone complained when I put it on social media, and they said it was fine because I was filming."
