Katie Price brands I'm A Celeb campmate Johnny Rotten a 'nasty piece of work'

Katie Price lashed out at her former I'm A Celebrity campmate Johnny Rotten after he kicked off about the new Sex Pistols bipoc.

Johnny - aka John Lydon - was upset about being left out by producers of the series Pistols, which charts the punk rockers' huge rise to fame in the 1970s.

But Johnny tore into producers and his former bandmates over the way he was being portrayed in the show.

Lashing out, he said: "I think that’s the most disrespectful s**t I’ve ever had to endure.

"I mean, they went to the point to hire an actor to play me but what’s the actor working on? Certainly not my character. It can’t go anywhere else [but court]."

And after the band's former muse Jordan Mooney said the real reason Johnny wasn't involved in the making of the series was because he's "difficult" to work with, Katie had her say.

The former glamour model, was in the I'm A Celebrity jungle with Johnny in 2004, the series that famously saw her hook up with Peter Andre, who she went on to marry and have two children with.

Sharing a screenshot of the article about Johnny, Katie wrote on her Instagram story: "He is a nasty piece of work I witnessed it in the jungle".

The pair famously clashed during their time on the ITV reality show.

Ranting about her in the Bush Telegraph at one point, he said: "The woman's f*****g talentless. P**s off it doesn't do anything. And when it does it nags all the way through it. Come on.

"Kick her a**e out of here. It ain't funny anymore. It don't contribute. It's a parasite. You won't push much more that on me. I won't take that. I won't. You make a change with that attitude or I'll do something serious."

And in a rant that ended with him kicking the camera, he fumed: "I'm getting really fed up with it. I'm kind of the spokesperson I suppose, because I'm outspoken. It occupies the centre of attention, but it isn't happy even with that. The smoke annoys her. It's the camp fire, b***h. Live with it or swap.

"I'm not here to support a Page 3 f*****g blow up balloon. Right? I f*****g ain't. No f*****g more."

And speaking of Katie's romance with now ex-husband Peter, he once joked: "Wasn't it lovely to see romance blossom? Well, it was more like watching mushrooms grow on a rotten log."

Jordan told The Sun : "John picks and chooses when he wants to be a punk. If it suits him one day, he will be Johnny Rotten and otherwise he is John Lydon.

"Probably the rest of the band are more true to themselves.

"John has got a few issues about his importance in the world so him not being involved is the best thing that can happen."
