Katie Price battles Peter Andre as she refuses to take drug test after cocaine shame

Katie Price has insisted she won't do any more drug tests after Peter Andre requested her to submit herself to testing - after she admitted taking cocaine every week for six months.

The mum of five, who turned to the Class A drug last year after the breakdown of her third marriage to Kieran Hayler, has reportedly told pals she feels her life is already back on track.

She's refused to take any more hair strand drug tests and is said to be "putting her foot down".

"She's sick of it – she feels she's done enough of them and has nothing to prove now," an insider told the Sun .

"Everyone wishes she would do a test and then prove once and for all that there are no problems to worry about."

Katie was last year given an ultimatum by her ex: submit to substance testing or she wouldn't be allowed to take care of their children, Junior and Princess.

The kids moved out to their dad's house as Katie's partying spiralled out of control, after she chucked estranged husband Kieran out of the family home.

"Peter's been very worried about Katie and the children and he has asked her to take a drugs test," a pal told the Sunday People at the time.

"Katie has agreed to do it. He wants to be assured he has nothing to worry about."

Katie is now regularly seeing Junior and Princess and says she has a good relationship with Pete now.

It comes as the ex-glamour model says she's desperate to have another baby, after losing two pregnancies to miscarriage in the last couple of years.

She was spotted visiting a fertility clinic in a recent episode of My Crazy Life - but pals have warned it's not a good idea to bring another child into her chaotic life.

"Katie always needs to shock and to have drama or a new project to focus on," a source told Closer magazine .

"She can't ever be alone and always thinks a man and babies are the solution to every issue in her life.

"But friends are worried she is not in the right headspace. It could add even more stress to her life. They fear it could destroy her by wrecking what stability she has left."

Mirror Online has contacted Katie's rep for comment.
