Katie Price back in hospital for more treatment to smashed feet after agonising injury

Katie Price has revealed she has been forced to return to hospital to have her feet assessed after she broke them during a holiday to Turkey last year.

The 43-year-old mum-of-five smashed her ankles during a trip to the Land of Legends theme park in the Middle Eastern country in July last year.

She underwent surgery in both Turkey and back in the UK previously – and has hinted she is going to require even more work over a year later in order to get her feet back to full health.

Taking to Instagram Stories on Monday, Katie revealed she was in hospital and awaiting a detailed scan of her feet – and suggested she would likely be getting further treatment.

Announcing she was “Back” at the Chelsea and Westminster hospital for more medical aid.

The troubled star showed off a a photograph of a CT scanner and suggested she was having her bones checked by the machine.

She added: “For my feet looks like round two.”

Fans of Katie will of course recall that she broke both her feet last year during a holiday abroad.

The star had jumped over a small wall but landed awkwardly – smashing the bones in both of her ankles leaving her wheelchair bound while she recovered.

For many weeks last year the star provided gory updates about her injuries as she slowly recovered from the accident and slowly got herself back on her feet and walking.

The incident and her healing process did, however, give Katie plenty of content for her YouTube channel.

Explaining how she ended up in her situation during one update, the ex-topless model declared: “Silly me, at my age, should calm things down. Basically, silly little accident. I was running and jumped over a wall, as it was a little shortcut, and didn’t really judge the height.

“I just sort of fell funny on my ankles and I fractured the hairline on my heels and stuff. The hospital here wanted to operate and wanted to put pins in and stuff. Because I’m away, I’d rather wait until I get home.

“It’s the most painful thing ever. Like when I was trying to put the cast on, I was screaming in pain. They said I won’t be able to walk for three to six months.”

Katie is yet to explain what other treatments she will require or if the CT scan discovered anything significant – but she may have other issues on her mind.

Tomorrow she is set to discover her fate in court where a judge will sentence her for driving drunk without insurance and while disqualified.

The star has already plead guilty to the charges during a court appearance in September and will find out if she will be jailed for her crimes on Wednesday.

She could therefore spend Christmas behind bars should the judge deem a jail sentence to be appropriate.

Katie has been galavanting to Las Vegas and Belgium in the weeks since her guilty plea – leading some to assume she is not taking her situation seriously.

However, she lashed out over the weekend, declaring online: "It seems that at the moment the media won’t leave me alone and are trying to portray that I’m not taking this situation serious. Well I’m here to confirm that I definitely am."
