Katie Price avoids bankruptcy before launching into foul-mouthed rant at critics

Katie Price beamed as she revealed to her friends that she had avoided bankruptcy – before launching into a foul-mouthed rant about the media.

The former model announced that she had avoided financial ruin at her latest hearing in a clip for her brand new show airing next week.

While making festive food, Price said: “All this stuff about the bankruptcy, well, I have my call today and guess what? I’m not going bankrupt!”

Turning to the camera, Price vented: “I’ve been battered by the press about me going bankrupt. It’s like everyone’s obsessed with it. I’ve been battered hard, it’s been difficult mentally to cope with the battering I’ve had.

The standalone festive special, which airs next week, is the second of two episodes focusing candidly on Price’s life.

Earlier on Tuesday, Price avoided being declared bankrupt after the taxman accepted a plan for her to repay her debts.

A specialist insolvency and companies court in London was informed of her plan to remunerate her creditors.

My Crazy Life airs Monday at 10pm on Quest Red.
