(Picture: PA)A man arrested over the alleged assault of Katie Price was rebailed on Monday.
The suspect was held after the TV personality, 43, was allegedly punched in the face last month at her home in Essex.
He was arrested on suspicion of assault, theft and coercive and controlling behaviour. He was previously bailed until September 20.
Essex Police confirmed the date has been extended until later this week as investigators continue to consider the case.
A spokesperson said: “A 32 year-old man arrested following reports of an assault in Little Canfield on 23 August has been rebailed until later this week.”
Ms Price was taken to hospital with facial injuries after she was allegedly attacked in the early hours of August 23.
The mum-of-five was pictured with a bruised face and cut lip.
She told The Sun: “I’ve got a big bruise, my face is all puffy, and I went to hospital.
“I’m still all dazed. I’m devastated. I’ve told police that I was assaulted, and am in shock that this happened.”
She claimed she ran away to her son Harvey’s house after being punched and she said she damaged her feet but that she “can’t say any more”.
The reality star is a devoted mum to her five children - Harvey, 19, Junior, 16, Princess, 14, Jett, eight, and Bunny, seven.
Her son Junior recently landed a record deal as he follows in his dad Peter Andre’s musical footsteps.
The teenager announced the news on Instagram and credited his dad for helping him to launch his musical career.
It comes as Ms Price attended the National Television Awards in September after being nominated for her BBC documentary Katie Price: Harvey and Me.
She began dating Carl Woods, 32, in June last year after they were introduced by a mutual friend and the pair got engaged this April.
It marked the eighth time Ms Price has been engaged but she has only been married three times.
